About the Author – Daniel Gislén
Daniel Gislén is the author of the ongoing science fiction saga Starborn Alive, with two published titles and additional books in development.
Daniel is a storyteller, screenwriter, and media educator with a rich background in film production, animation, and narrative design. He has spent many years developing his craft, merging his love for science fiction with real-world issues to create worlds that feel both epic and emotionally grounded.
Daniel’s academic journey is as diverse as the stories he tells. His background spans media, education, literature, political thought, and screenwriting, giving his work a distinctive blend of emotional depth, historical awareness, and contemporary relevance. This interdisciplinary foundation infuses his storytelling with a deep understanding of human behavior, history, and contemporary global challenges. Additionally, his training in 3D animation and interactive design enhances his ability to craft immersive narratives and complex worlds.
Throughout his career, Daniel has worked on various media projects, including commercials, commissioned films, and the look development for the animated feature Beyond Beyond (Copenhagen-Bombay). Since 2009, he has shared his passion for media production and storytelling with students, teaching film production and narrative techniques at several high schools.
