Old Craft – A Glimpse from 2011

Back in 2010–2011, Starborn Alive was still a script. To explore its visual world, I gathered a small team of students, actors, and stunt performers to create a trailer—filmed outside school hours with limited resources but boundless energy.

We built scenes using a mix of live action, 3D animation, and visual effects. Some shots included over 50 layers of compositing in After Effects, and many of the Maya scenes took weeks to render. It was a slow, meticulous process—but also one filled with joy, experimentation, and belief in the story.

This short clip is a piece of that early vision.

Not a final product—just a first step.

A reminder that every world begins somewhere.
